Lawrenceville to Hold Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Public Works Complex


The media is invited to attend the City of Lawrenceville’s ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new public works facility on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. at 435 West Pike St.

Who: City of Lawrenceville representatives including Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson and City Manager Chuck Warbington along with Project Management team, Croft and Associates


What: A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the City of Lawrenceville’s new $20 million public works facility


When: February 12, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m.


Where: City of Lawrenceville Public Works Department @ 435 West Pike St.

Why: Get the first glance of Lawrenceville’s new Public Works Complex – new home to the City’s Gas, Electric, Damage Prevention, Fleet Maintenance, Streets and Sanitation departments. Hear from City officials how this project not only provides a much-improved working environment for employees but also serves as an essential first-step toward completion of Gwinnett’s largest redevelopment project currently underway – the South Lawn in Downtown Lawrenceville. Tours will be available following the ribbon cutting. Media are encouraged to attend as interviews with City officials will be available along with photo opportunities of both the exterior and interior of the facility.
