Downtown Architectural Review Board (DARB)
Purpose: To foster downtown revitalization by assisting developers who want to invest in and update their properties to improve the community for the benefit of all.
The Downtown Architectural Review Board (DARB) was established to aid in the revitalization of the downtown area. By facilitating developers who want to invest in and update their properties, we foster improvements that benefit the entire community
We further provide a means for negotiating the parameters of a project’s appearance for construction—both new development and renovations. Additionally, we can hear variance requests for projects planned for downtown. Examples of projects involving the DARB include Cornerstone on the Square and Honest Alley.
The rules and regulations by which we abide apply to the Downtown Overlay District only.
