Lawrenceville Tourism & Trade Association
The LTTA was officially created by the City of Lawrenceville and Downtown Development Authority in late, September 2003. The original five members of the LTTA board of directors conducted start-up, structural meetings and acquired professional training through a retreat seminar. In May 2004, the LTTA launched organized marketing efforts by contracting with professional consulting services to provide an executive staff management team. In June 2004, the LTTA hosted a Kick-off Meeting to enlist the initial roster of members (70 members joined at the June 2004 kick-off banquet) and vote by ballot for four individuals to fill the remaining, required four vacant Board of Directors positions.
The Mission of the LTTA – Lawrenceville’s DMO:
The Lawrenceville Tourism & Trade Association (LTTA) serves Lawrenceville by promoting tourism, business development, and civic life in the City of Lawrenceville. The LTTA—a private, nonprofit tourism agency—is an association-supported Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the City of Lawrenceville, appointed by the city's Downtown Development Authority and sanctioned by the City of Lawrenceville. The organization's goals are to:

- Market Lawrenceville as a destination for visitors and investors
- Encourage long-term capital appreciation
- Produce high-quality cultural and civic events for visitors and residents
- Conserve one of Lawrenceville’s most significant economic and civic resources – the Historic Downtown Commercial District
