How to receive an absentee ballot
A completed application must first be received before an absentee ballot is issued. Please call the Voter Registration and Elections office at 770-963-2414 ext. 6571 and request that an application be mailed to you, or download the form and fax (770-963-9239) or mail it in to this office at:

PUBLIC NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
CITY OF LAWRENCEVILLE
Notice is hereby given for a municipal general election to be held at the Lawrenceville City Hall, 70 South Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, to elect the Mayor of the City of Lawrenceville and two members of the City Council. The poll will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The posts for this election are currently occupied by Mayor Rex A. Millsaps and Council Members Mike Crow and Marie Beiser.
Those residents desiring to vote in the election who are not now registered as a qualified voter must register to vote no later than the close of business on October 4, 2010.
An elector may cast an absentee ballot in person at the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville, Georgia during the period of Friday, October 8, 2010 through Friday, October 29, 2010. City Hall shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each week day for this early voting.
Those residents seeking to qualify as candidates in the election must file a notice of candidacy in the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville at 70 South Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 through Friday, September 3, 2010. The qualification period shall close promptly at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010. Candidates must pay to the City a qualifying fee of $288.00 for the office of Mayor and $216.00 for the office of City Council Member.
