Engineering Department
The Engineering Department serves Lawrenceville by reviewing construction plans for permits, storm water detention and drainage, and road relocation; designing and managing projects around city; inspecting contracts and putting out projects for bid. Operating exclusively within the city limits, the department also assists with engineering projects and issues, and new developments that arise.

The Engineering Department’s projects include the Visitor’s Center, Chestnut Street, and the new Police Department.
