The City of Lawrenceville Street Department, operating within the city limits of Lawrenceville, is responsible for managing:

Lawrenceville Utilities offers a complimentary seasonal leaf collection service to residential customers located in the current Lawrenceville Sanitation service area.

May 1 to October 31

  • During this time, leaves must be bagged and left at the street for pickup.
  • Leaf collection takes place the same day as your trash collection.
  • Place bags several feet away from the trash cart to avoid confusion.
  • Only leaves and small yard debris may be in the bags of your choosing and may weigh no more than 50 lbs.
  • There will be an extra charge for 10 or more bags of leaves and/or household garbage per week.

November 1 to April 30

  • Leaves may be left unbagged at the street for the vacuum truck.
  • Collection during unbagged season is not regularly scheduled. 
    • Leaves are collected on an as-needed basis and may vary depending on weather conditions.
    • Routes take approximately two weeks to complete within the city limits.
  • Leaf collection is automatic and does not need to be scheduled.
  • The service is not available to others outside the current service area.
