The City of Lawrenceville Street Department, operating within the city limits of Lawrenceville, is responsible for managing: 

  • Pot Holes
  • Street Maintenance
  • Street Signs
  • Leaf Collection
  • Limb Collection
  • Grass Collection

Leaf Collection

Lawrenceville Utilities offers a complimentary seasonal leaf collection service to residential customers located in the current Lawrenceville Sanitation service area. Leaf collection takes place the same day as your trash collection during the months of May 1 to October 31. During this time, leaves must be bagged and left at the street for pickup. Please place bags several feet away from the trash cart to avoid confusion. Only leaves and small yard debris may be in the bags of your choosing and may weigh no more than 50 lbs. During the months of November 1 through April 30, leaves may be left unbagged at the street for the vacuum truck. Leaf collection is automatic and does not need to be scheduled. There will be an extra charge for 10 or more bags of leaves and/or household garbage per week.The service is not available to others outside the current service area.

Limb Collection

Lawrenceville Utilities offers a complimentary year round limb collection service to residential customers located in the current Lawrenceville Sanitation service area.  Limbs are collected on the same day as the trash collection. Tree limbs, small trees, and shrubbery must be cut into lengths of three feet or less. The limbs do not require a bag and must be placed at the curb in a single location. Do not stack near any utility boxes or meters, or under overhead utility lines. Limbs are not considered a large item and do not require a pick-up.

Grass Collection

Lawrenceville Utilities offers a complimentary seasonal grass collection service to residential customers located in the current Lawrenceville Sanitation service area. Grass collection takes place the same day as your trash collection during the months of May 1 to October 31. During this time, grass must be bagged and left at the street for pickup. Please place bags several feet away from the trash cart to avoid confusion. Only grass may be placed in the bags of your choosing. During the months of November 1 through April 30, grass may be left unbagged at the street for the vacuum truck. Grass collection is automatic and does not need to be scheduled. Free Mulch Temporarily Unavailable

The City's free mulch service is temporarily unavailable. Information will be posted here and on the City's social media platforms when the service is restarted.

When the mulch service is in operation
, mulch is available on Wednesdays from 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 460 Papermill Road, Lawrenceville. Also, when the service is in operation, delivery of mulch may be scheduled on a very limited basis through Customer Service at 678.407.6675.

Street Services
