Alcohol license regulations can be found in the General Code of Ordinances – Chapter 4. Please familiarize yourself with the Alcohol Ordinance prior to application.
Beginning on January 12, 2022, New Applicants will be required to start the licensing process directly with the State of Georgia through the “Centralized Alcohol Processing” Portal – GA Dept of Revenue - Application Portal
Application Completion - In addition to applying with the State of Georgia, the City of Lawrenceville application for a local license to sell alcohol within the city must be completed. The license is not transferable and expires annually on March 1 regardless of the license issue date. Access the Alcohol License Application (PDF) through the GTC portal.
Please Note: New application fees must be paid by cash or money orders.
The annual Alcohol License Renewal Application (PDF) and the fee is due by January 31. A 20% late fee will be added to any license if payment is not received by the due date.
