Zoning Administration

Zoning is a tool for regulating the ways that land can be used. When combined with thoughtful planning, zoning can help preserve property values, promote land use compatibility and ensure communities are functional and safe places.

Zoning Ordinance

The Zoning Ordinance regulates the permitted use and occupancy of property by zoning district; provides for minimum yards, lot area and building heights; governs signs and off-street parking; and establishes minimum architectural standards for new construction.
