Late Fees & Notices

Utility bills not paid by the due date are subject to a 10% late fee on the outstanding current balance. A Late Notice will be mailed to customers with an outstanding balance 16 days after the original billing date.

Late fees are not removed from residential accounts. Commercial accounts may apply for removal of one late fee per 12 months.

Nonpayment Service Disconnects

  • Utility accounts with an outstanding balance 20 days after the original billing date are subject to disconnection for non-payment.
  • A $30.00 cutoff administrative fee will be charged to all customers who have not made a payment in full through the website, in the office, or by phone before the day that services are subject to disconnection.
  • Customers who make a payment after 4:00 pm on the day of disconnection and wish for their services to be restored the same day will be charged a $45.00 after-hours fee in addition to the $30.00 cutoff administration fee.  Customers will need to call the after-hours utility line at 770.339.2410 after 5:00 pm to request for services to be restored.
  • No exceptions will be made to this policy.
