The Atlanta International Night Market Returns to Lawrenceville for Year Two.
The City of Lawrenceville and Atlanta International Night Market welcome residents and visitors alike to "Around the World in the DTL," a free, two-day event featuring a diverse selection of food, music, and activities for all ages. Learn, celebrate, and explore as we come together for a weekend of appreciating cultures from across the globe.
“The City of Lawrenceville is proud to host the Atlanta International Night Market at the Lawrenceville Lawn for another year,” said Mayor David Still. “Lawrenceville City Council and staff value the ability to provide free and educational events for the community to enjoy.”
The cultural celebration kicks off Friday, September 9th at 5pm with a LIVE in the DTL special performance by Gloria’s Miami Sound - Gloria Estefan Tribute. Snag your lawn chair and don your best Miami-inspired outfit for a night of upbeat pop sure to keep you moving all night long. Get ready to do the Conga with us at 8pm as we sing and dance along to Gloria Estefan classics like 'Conga', 'Don't Wanna Lose You', and 'Get On Your Feet.'
Around the World in the DTL continues Saturday, September 10th beginning at 2 pm. Enjoy special performances and food selections from around the world, highlighting over 50 vendors packing out the Lawrenceville Lawn. Taste a new dish from a food truck as you browse vendors’ creative wares. Settle in for acrobatic routines, traditional dances, and various musical guests. The R&B group, Soul Cartel, will close out the weekend with an exciting performance sure to get you on your feet.
“The Atlanta International Night Market is excited to continue our partnership with the City of Lawrenceville and bring vendors and performers representing over 20 countries,” said Jeffrey Kuo, Atlanta International Night Market CFO. “There will be something for everyone!”
Founded in 2016, the Atlanta International Night Market seeks to share a more profound understanding of often underrepresented cultures with the broader Atlanta community. With the event as a tapestry, the AINM team has woven cultural arts, education, and cuisine into a singular platform to both enrich and display the vibrant multicultural diversity that is Atlanta.
