Annual digital publication now available online.
The City of Lawrenceville Financial Services Department works annually with city staff to prepare a comprehensive budget, which is then submitted and approved by the Mayor and City Council. Once approved, the information is compiled into the Annual Budget Report, which is available to the public on the city website and can be downloaded and printed.
The Financial Review Citizen Committee reviews the budget process prior to final approval by the Mayor and City Council. Members of the Committee are Robert Barrows, David Brown, Robert Brown, Gina Callicotte, Tommy Carraway, Jr., Carla Crowe, Barbara Dickerson, John Greenway, Annette Houtz, Dr. Joeann Malone, Mark Morrow, Brett Bosier, Kyle Norton, and Andres Rubio.
The Community Relations and the Financial Services Departments work together to produce this annual publication which supports the city's commitment to financial transparency. Additional financial information can be found on Open Checkbook, the city's financial transparency portal, offering interactive access to city budget information. In addition to the current fiscal year, city budgets dating back to 2019 are available on the portal. The City of Lawrenceville is one of only five state communities offering this type of digital transparency product.
The Annual Budget Report is produced each fall. For additional information, visit the Financial Services Department page on the city website.
