If you are not the homeowner, a permit may only be issued to a state licensed General Contractor who has made application for a permit.

Follow requirements specified in application and the form and payment must be submitted to City Hall in person. If you are within the Lawrenceville City Limits, you can download the Business Change Request form. The form has a place for name change. Follow requirements specified in application and the form and payment must be submitted to City Hall in person.Please contact Planning & Zoning at 678-407-6583 if you are uncertain if you within the City limits. Contact the Deeds and Records office of Gwinnett County at 770-822-8100 to determine if a property survey has been recorded with the County. If a survey is not on file with the Deeds and Records Office, it may be necessary to have a licensed professional surveyor prepare one for you.

For any event proposed within the City Limits, you should discuss your desires with the Communication and Community Development Department and the Police Department months ahead of the planned event.
